Here Are Some

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What time are your services?

We meet on Sundays in person at 9:30am. Some folks like to arrive a little early though, to gather in our coffee shop, Gathering Grounds, which opens at 8.

  • Do you have services for kids and youth?

Yes! Kids and youth are a core piece of our intergenerational community. Our kids begin in service with us and are dismissed after a few songs, a time of prayer, and a message designed just for them. Our service flows straight into Sunday School, but you can of course pick them up if you need to go.

Youth join us for our entire service, but have a Sunday School designed for their age group following the service, and gather again at the church on Sunday evenings from 6-8pm for Youth Group.

  • How long do services usually last?

Our worship services typically last between 60-75 minutes. You can expect a time of singing, a sermon, and prayer. There’s often guided spiritual practice as well. Don’t be shy to linger a little longer after the service in Gathering Grounds (our coffee shop).

  • What should I wear?

Come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone.

  • What denomination is the church affiliated with?

Ford Street Church belongs to the United Methodist Church, a global church on a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
